State-of-the-art technology in the dispensary
Rexall Health Centre uses the latest automation and state-of-the-art dispensary technology to ensure that pharmacists have more time to spend reviewing medication and medication histories, and consulting with patients.

Private Consultation Room
The Rexall Health Centre offers expanded pharmacist services so patients can have easy access to one-on-one preventative care. A private consultation room is available for longer pharmacist-patient consultations. The pharmacist will be available to answer patient questions, help them better understand their medications, promote health and wellness and offer advice on a variety of topics such as managing chronic conditions, treating minor ailments, quitting smoking, cholesterol control and more. Pharmacists are also trained on special programs such as Asthma Education.

Merchandising and products based on health
The Rexall Health Centre is designed the way patients shop for their health care needs, making it easy to find what they need in four special merchandising areas under the broad themes of Healthy Heart, Lung, Skin, and Bone. Products are grouped together along with literature on underlying conditions such as Asthma and Diabetes. Rexall Health Centre staff are trained to help patients find the right product or learn more about their condition. Rexall Health Centre is distinct almost as much by what it does not offer as by what it does. Candy aisles, photo processing and other retail staples will not be found in the Centre.

Community Centre Seminar Room
A classroom with seating for up to 40 people will be used to host a number of health seminars each month that include patient training and education on everything from proper nutrition to smoking cessation. Groups such as Weight Watchers, as well as notable health experts and in-house health care professionals are some of the speakers that patients can expect. Community health professionals and community members are encouraged to speak to the pharmacy team about booking the room or requesting a seminar topic.

Hands-on Interactive Learning Centre
The Interactive Learning Centre is a comprehensive resource centre that includes books, information packages, a computer with Internet access to reputable health Web sites, WiFi, DVDs, and videos. The comfortable learning environment encourages a hands-on approach for those clients looking for a more proactive approach to learning about their health. In addition health care professionals are readily available to answer questions.
